John and Ann have been married since October 1988 and are the proud parents of 2 sons (Jared 22, Joshua 19). They have been involved in ministry since 1986 where both were members of short term ministry teams, John went to Uganda and Ann went back to England (Ann’s home). Following these mission trips John & Ann moved to Peterborough where John went back to school and Ann worked as a Primary school teacher at Rhema Christian school.
In 1993 John & Ann began their Pastoral ministry journey in the town of Bobcaygeon as assistant pastors with Dave & Louise (11 months), then moved to Listowel where they joined Keith & Sharon Preston as Associate Pastors (4 years), then moved to Erin where they served as the Senior Pastor (6 years), then moved to Kingston where they served as the Senior Pastors in a Free Methodist Church (4 years).
In 2008 John, Ann, Jared and Joshua began a new stage in their journey with Christ. During this time John became a regular member of the RCMP where he ended up serving in Thompson MB and Ann began working outside of the home in Environmental services. Following John’s service with the RCMP he became a member of a security company, the Commissionaires. While with the Commissionaires John has worked in the Federal Prisons while Ann was in the Hotel industry before moving to Kingston General Hospital where she currently works.
Jared is in his 4th year at the University of Ottawa where he is studying “International Studies – Globalization with a minor in Sociology, all in French.” Jared’s passions are soccer and people. He currently works part-time at Starbucks on the University campus and has been with them for 4 years.
Joshua is currently playing Junior B hockey in Peace River, Alberta. Joshua completed high school last year and is pursuing his dream of playing hockey and seeing where it could lead to.
